Houston – Car Drive into Bayou on South Gessner Road

The man who was rescued from his vehicle in the bayou in Southwest Houston was pronounced deceased, according to a local news source.
According to initial reports, the incident took place at the 9900 block of South Gessner Road last Friday night. When authorities arrived at the scene, they found a man floating in the water not too far from the wreckage. Local paramedics performed life-saving measures on the victim before they transported him to the nearest hospital. Unfortunately, he later succumbed to his injuries, as per medical personnel.
No one else was injured.
