Meanwhile, the driver of the vehicle remained at the scene. He did show any sign of impairment, as per local investigators.
The crash remains under investigation.
With sincerest sympathies, we would like to express our deepest condolences to the families of the deceased. We strongly believe that the Houston Police Department will do everything to bring those responsible to justice.
Some of the deadliest counties for car accidents in Texas are Harris, Dallas, and Tarrant. Among the 620,000 reported fatalities and injuries in the state, more than 4,000 cases were caused by a driver traveling at an unsafe speed.
Meanwhile, operators who tested positive for some type of drug are responsible for more than 500 cases that resulted in injuries. Following a fatal accident, it is important to be familiar with the rights you are entitled to. If you or your loved one is a victim in an accident caused by inattentive actions of another driver or other entity, you may have the right to file for compensation.
