Edinburg – 1 Killed in Car Accident on North Salinas Street

The Edinburg Police Department is conducting an investigation about a vehicle accident on North Salinas Street, Friday.

At around 5:00 p.m., local police responded to the 4000 block of North Salinas Street following a report about a collision. When they arrived at the scene, they found a man lying on the ground with injuries. He was immediately taken to a local hospital where he was pronounced deceased by medical personnel. No identification has been released at this time.

How the crash actually happened is yet to be determined by area authorities. However, it was confirmed that at least three cars were involved in the accident.

No charges have been made as the investigation is still in progress.
