Bryan – Man Died in Suspected Pedestrian Crash on Texas Ave

The Bryan Police Department is investigating a collision which killed one person on Texas Avenue, early Monday morning.

At around 1:00 a.m., police officers received a report of a man lying on the northbound lanes of Texas Avenue. Based on a preliminary investigation, the said victim had signs of trauma and injuries related to that of a person who was struck by a car. He was pronounced dead by emergency crews who responded to the scene.

Authorities have not released the victim’s name.

Area investigators arrived at the scene to determine the circumstances leading up to the accident. Anyone who has information about the crash should get in contact with police officers.
